Jena & Justin’s Sandbar Wedding | Anna Maria Island

My cousin Justin and his new wifey Jena had a boho chic wedding at the Sandbar Waterfront Restaurant on Anna Maria Island, Florida.  It was a intimate evening affair with close family and friends.  The ceremony was held in a private little nook just off the water.  Of course with any beach wedding, there are a few Lookie-Lous- but it almost makes you feel like a celebrity! Not only was I there to capture the important moments  but to enjoy spending time with my family. I was a little more nervous than usual because I’ve never had the majority of my family there to watch me work. As things normally go when you are on Island Time (or just with my family in general)….the day got off to a slow start.  Luckily for me, we held the ceremony back a few minutes.  The Florida sun is a bit softer in March but with the Spring time change and no clouds in the sky – it was bright!! Still unbelievable beautiful! My family and I love to be by the water… it’s no surprise that Justin wanted a beach wedding. It doesn’t get much prettier than Anna Maria Island. The Florida sand is white and soft – it is by far one of the best beaches in the country.   The aqua blue bridesmaids dresses and tie dye orchids complemented the waterside wedding perfectly.  No beach-side wedding is completed without a beautiful and vivid sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
